Dynamics Portal Sign In Only

Hello everybody, 

we're trying to set up Portal to work with our existing Customer Database. We use a third party Authentification service (OpenID) to authenticate our users. 

Problem is, whenever we try to log in the Portal tries to register the user creating an "Email already exists" error. We only need login functionality but can't figure out how to disable the registration. 

We tried setting "Authentication/Registration/Enabled" to false - but this ended in an error "Registration disabled" which didn't work. 

Any suggestions are appreciated! Cheers. ;)

    Hi Rodrigues,

    Authentication/Registration/Enabled and  Authentication/Registration/ExternalLoginEnabled are both set to True.

    We do not want to enable Registration, so we're only interested in existing customers logging in. We will add users manually when we have a signed contract with them.

    the registration settings should be set to true

    make sure the Authentication/Registration/ExternalLoginEnabled is also set to true

    does this happen always? even when it is a first time login? or only happens when the user is getting registered ?
