Check design. No preprinted check - FDD

Hi All,

If the user wants the check to be designed and printed from D365, no preprinted check, do you need to measure their current check?  I'm familiar with pre-printed check FDD, but not 100% design.   I'd appreciate your feedback.

    Hi Ludwig,

Yes, it stands for Functional Design Document.  It's a standard US check size.  Nothing special.  Check stub would display on the top and continue to the middle section.  The check itself is at the buttom.  Typically, for the pre-printed check, I measure inches from the top edge, buttom edge, the two sides, and the distance in inches from the micro line up or down to the check information. Take the picture of the preprinted check.   It's pretty much it.   For the check design now, with no pre-printed check, I guess I wouldn't need to measure since we can choose standard US check size.  Any thoughts?  Thanks.

    Hello Kim,

What does the FDD abbreviation stand for? Functional Design Document?

Can you provide some additional explanation especially on the design and FDD elements?

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig
