Reverse transactions created from General journal after changing the posting date of the reversal

Hi all,

I want to reverse transactions created from a general journal after changing the posting date of the transaction that is being created after reversal. Example: If the posting date of the transaction created and posted from general journal is 1st august 2019 and I want to create a reverse transaction with the date 10th September 2019, how should it be done?

    Hi 

    Standard Reversal posted based on Posting date . There is no way you can change Reversal Transaction Date .

    Reversing is always done on the Posting date, it has been a common need of many customers to do the reversing on the specific dedicated date on which they want to do but that's not out of the box available.. You need to go with certain tweak and customisation within the system, You can play with the descriptions though.

    The standard reversal function will only use the original posting date. You will need to customize it or just do manual transaction to reverses it.
