Business process change

 We had to switch the business process flow of couple of opportunities. But after the switching the process, opportunity owners were not able to move to next stage but system admins can. We have provided the appropriate security permission to the user role, users are able to move to the next stage when they create new opportunity with the same business process. Let me know your thoughts about the issue, I am not sure if additional security permissions required.

    Hi partner,

    We need to check the security role of the user.

    In the security role, each BPF has its own set of privileges. If the user does not have the Write privilege of a BPF, then the user cannot move to next stage.

    So we need to ensure the user has the Write privilege of the BPF in his security role.

    Demo:

    The user does not have the Write privilege of the Oppotunity Sales Process.

    Then when he goes to the Opportunity and click Next Stage, he will see an error.

    If he has the Write privilege of the Oppotunity Sales Process, he can go to next stage successfully.

    Hi,

    Yes, write privilege has been provided. As I said above, user is able to move to next stage in case of new opportunity but its not working (can't see Next stage button) for existing opportunity.
