Unable to deploy the web page - page definition - EPPurchReqTableList EP - AX 2012

Hi All,

We are getting the below error while deploying the web page EPPurchReqTableList.

"Server was unable to process request. ---> Setup encountered an error during deployment of the Role Center and Enterprise Portal framework."

But able to deploy the page "EPPurchase" from same node , even having the Administrator role.

Please guide us how we can resolve this issue.

How are you deploying web page? Are you using AxUpdatePortal utility?

Hi Sergei,

We are trying to deploy from AOT-->Web-->Web Files-->Web Definitions-->EPPurchReqTableList--Right click --> Deploy Element

Are you running AX client from the server where EP is installed?

Could you, please, try to do the same via AxUpdatePortal utility?

Hi Sergei,

SharePoint is installed in separate server.

I followed the link provided, and trying to execute the command from Command prompt(opened with administrator) from AOS server(we can run this from any server as per link),

getting the below error for -updateall command,

"The operation failed to execute",

and there is no information in Event logs as well.

Hi Akbar,

I am assuming you are trying to deploy the page definition. Are you bringing over any changes to this page from a different environment?

Hi Sergei,

Tried in SharePoint server,

Getting the below error even having the Admin role in AX,

"Error: Access denied. You must be registered as administrator or developer in the Dynamics Ax."

Hi Gunjan,

Actual issue is , when we click on any record in "Purchase requisition prepared by me" , getting page not found error - 404, so wanted to deploy the page "EPPurchReqTableList" from Page definitions, so getting this error :

"Server was unable to process request. ---> Setup encountered an error during deployment of the Role Center and Enterprise Portal framework."

Hi Akbar,

If you are able to deploy other pages to EP, I don't think it's an issue with permission. Could you please do the following -

1. Can you compile the form PurchReqTableListPage under AOT > Forms and the class PurchReqTableListPage interaction as well. Please make sure there are no errors. Please do a a full CIL post that.

2. Please check if you are facing this on one environemnt only or on all environments.
