Show text of resolution field on Case form

Hello,

I have this requirement to display the Resolution field on Case form.

I have already added the resolution field on the form., However, the field remains blank.

The resolution is instead displayed as a note in the Timeline.

In resolving a Case, I click the Resolve Case button. After clicking, a dialog window appears wherein I input the Resolution text.

My question is why is it not displayed in the Case form even though the Resolution field is already there?

Is there a way to display it in the frm?

Regards,

Jolas365

    Hi Jolas365,

Through searching and testing, Resolution(adx_resolution) in case entity and Resolution(subject) in Case resolution entity are not the same field, so resolution from case resolution entity cab't be shown in the resolution field of the case entity.

    Case resolution:

But you can use flow to get Resolution(subject) value from Case resolution, then fill it in the Resolution(adx_resolution) in case entity, if you want to show resolution text from case resolution entity in the case form.

1.Go Power Automate(https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/ ) to create an automated flow in case resolution entity.

    2.Overview of the flow.

    3.Test

After resolving the case and filling the resolution field of the case resolution entity in the dialog, refreshing current page, you will find following screenshot result:

    Hi Leah Ju,

I think this is exactly what I need. However, I could not clearly visualize the images as they get blurred when I try to zoom the page. The images could not be zoomed. Besides, I really do not know which trigger to choose.

If you have time, please provide a detailed steps as I am really new to Power Automate.

    Many thanks,

    Jolas365
