Tasked with creating a "static segment" using behaviors

Hello All.

I think I was tasked with something that is not feasible.

I was asked to create a scenario to teach end users how to make a behavior-based static segment.

I do not think that is even possible in Dynamics - let alone logical.

I would think behavior-based segments would be handled by a Dynamic segment.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

    Vicki Oz,

When whoever tasked you with this silliness asks the status, I suggest replying that it is "openly closed".  Feel free to take a pic of them trying to puzzle that through and share on here .

    Hi,

    Yes, you’re right.

Members in Static segment can only be managed manually or by query, which can be found in Design a static segment (Dynamics 365 Marketing) | Microsoft Docs.

Behavior segment is dynamic because its membership is defined as a query, whose results can change from moment to moment in response to new interactions being added to the database.

To know more about this type of segment, please refer to:

Create segments based on interactions (Dynamics 365 Marketing) | Microsoft Docs
