How to debug AOT objects that is in ISV model in D365 FO

Hi,

Is there any way to debug a class, forms, and table methods that is in ISV vendor model? Since we cannot open any AOT objects that are part of an ISV package in visual studio in D365 FO. Is there any workaround on this?

Hi knives1991,

you can debug only if you have source code. If the ISV hasn't shared their source code (models) with you, then you can't debug the ISV functionality.

You should discuss it with the ISV, for example you could ask if they can provide you part of the source code for debugging purposes. Or, if you have agreed with them that you can also get the source code, then you could ask for the whole source code. In the end it all depends on what you have agreed with them.
