Deleted an over-layered model using ModelUtil.exe -delete. But it did not deleted all files related to that model

Posted on by 276

Hi,

I had to delete an over-layered (Application suite) model. I used the command ModelUtil.exe -delelte to do so. The model was deleted from the root directory and I couldn't see it in AOT. Afterwards, I ran a full build that was also successful. Then I decided to do some testing, it is when I started getting errors. The error seemed to be coming because the code could not find event handler attached to a specific method. When I tried to find references for that method, an error popped up "one or more errors occurred".

Need help on this. We cannot refresh the environment.

    Hi Sukrut,

I already did the refresh model but the problem was because of the files that were left there from the deleted models. Files in xppMetadata folder.  I stopped the AOS service and deleted them from the directory. Build all models and it worked.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi Sukrut,

I have tried the All build option. There was no error but the problem is still there, code is still trying to find the event handler.
