Hey there,
i tried to add a customer journey, starting with a form.
I added a segment with only my contact, at the begining, to make sure i am the only contact that runs through the journey - for testing reasons.
Then, i added a form as the next step of the journey and a trigger with a form-submitted-rule and an email on the "true" side of the trigger. My intention was to trigger an email once a member of the specific segment submits the form.
What has happend now is that every contact with the form as source-form receives the email, once anybody submits the form. The originating segment has no influence on the receipents.
Is it even possible to combine forms and segments in customer journeys, apart from creating a new segment based on the form source?
Has anybody any expericence with this kind of scenarios?
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards
Max
Good to hear Max and good luck with it.

Hi Vincent,
thanks for the quick reaction!
Yes that would be an option, but i need to allow contacts to run through the journey severall times...
But I guess if I don't use a specific date, but set the timestamp to today as well as the recurrence intervall to one, then everyone should be able to rund through it once a day, without running through it if anybody else submits the form.
I am going to try that and let you know.
Thanks for planting the seed!
Kind regards
Max
Hi Max,
I had something similar for a customer.
They already had form submissions but wanted to send emails only to new form submissions.
I solved this by using a time stamp in the segment (so when a form is submitted after a certain timestamp). So you need to add a Segment tile in this case instead of the form tile.
Hope this helps to solve your problem.
