Ledger value not matching with postedValue in InventSum table

Hi All,

I have a customized report from AX. We are taking data from inventSum Table as we need to find out the total Inventory issued as on date. But when we checking the total sum of PostedValue in InventSum table,it  is not matching with Ledger Value.There is a small difference of 120 AED. Could anybody help me to find out the difference? or anybody suggest the equivalent table to InventSum?

    Hi work,

    Is this a problem of your report and the queries created or does this problem already exist in the AX application?

    Have you tried to verify the amounts you get in your customized report through the inventory value report?

    Hi Ludwig,

    I just ran Inventory Value Report. The quantity and value is matching with our customized report. But why ledger balance is showing different? I am not understanding at all.

    Hi work,

    The inventory value report can be setup to include a reconciliation to the main accounts. If you do this reconciliation, do you see a difference?

    I suspect that some manual GL postings are responsible for what you get.

    Hi Work,

    Here is an example that illustrates how the setup can be made

    You might have to consult your colleagues from Accounting if you do not know the account numbers by heart.
