Hi Team,

I have configured Exchange Server on Premise and done outlook integration with CRM.

Everything is working fine but i am facing issue with Appointment.

I created an Appointment and it is visible in Outlook but when i cancelled in CRM,

No notification is there from CRM that Appointment is cancelled except in calendar White Bar appears at left side.

Please suggest.

Thank you:

Preeti

    Hello Preeti,

Did you enable email integration via Server Side Sync? Or outlook Client? If server side sync, can you confirm that "appointments, contacts and tasks" is successful on the mailbox? Additionally, you would want to check your sync filters underneath gears icon in upper right hand corner  > options > synchronization tab > sync filters > to ensure that the filter is set up correctly to sync back to outlook. Otherwise, I would open up a support case with Microsoft to take a look as to why the appointment cancellation isn't synching down to Outlook.

    Thanks,

    Tyson

    Hi Tyson,

Yes, all setup as you have mentioned is enabled in my environment.

I can see Cancellation is synching but there is no notification from CRM to Outlook except change in bar color from Blue to White as below:-

I want to know if there is any auto mail send from CRM to notify users about Cancellation. Is there any other setting to configure.

I have Synchronization fields enabled but no filters as of now. Do i need to create a filter to activate notification about Cancellation:

    Hi,

This is the OOB functionality of outlook that whenever you create an appointment, only the invitations are send to all the attendees and not the email.

If you want to send email on appointment creation and cancellation, then you can achieve this behaviour using custom plugins.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!
