Announcements
Hellow everyone
I have a challenge from a customer. Basically I need to show in the Accounts/Contacts/Leads forms a grid that shows the related Campaigns if those Accounts/Contacts/Leads are included in the Marketing Lists associated to that Campaign.
So let's imagine that the campaign XPTO contains the Marketing List A with the Account XPTO and Account XPTY. So in the account XPTO, I would like to see in the grid 'Campaigns' the campaign XPTO record.
This is not a direct relationship. I tried to create a relation 1:N but it would require to indicate the Account, and I have more than one Account ...
Any thoughts?
Many many thanks,
Kindly,
Ana Grou
Hi Ana Grou,
I added/created 3 campaigns
I created/add three marketing lists
Add existing campaigns against each list
Similarly, add Abdul Wahab to all of these three campaigns.
Finally, I can see the results which you want
Let me know if I can provide you with more details.
Thanks

Hello :)
That won't solve my problem either, I tried to create that query, but is needs to identify a specific contact (it is a lookup field) ... it would be something like "where me as a contact, i actualy belong to that marketing list, which is related to a campaign" :D
This is very tricky!!
Kindly,
Ana Grou
Hi Ana,
Let's talk only about contacts. Do you need to see all campaigns against the contact Abdul Wahab?
Am I right? If this is the case then my proposed solution will work without any need for new column and relationship with just a little code or extension or configuration.
Let me know if I can provide you with more details.
Thanks

Hello, Im afraid this won't help, because we want to add marketing lists to the campaign, not contacts. I understand the relationship you are proposing, but here is an indirect relationship. Perhaps I will have to use some code to fetch the data I need. Thanks for your purpose!
Hi Ana,
If you create a new relationship then you must need to fix data or in future, you need to fill new columns. As per my understanding, you can do the below of your contact, account, and leads form using a shared query. (Note: In my instance person is contact)
As your requirement is just to see campaigns against contact, account and lead forms.
Let me know if I can provide you with more details.
Thanks

Hi,
You can create N:N relationship between campaign and Account/ Contact.
