Where is the permission to be able to edit forms?

I thought that there was one setting that allowed access to the Form Editor across all entities.  Is this controlled on an entity level?  If so where is it I can't seem to find it.

There are two ways you can open form editor.

    1) By Clicking on Ribbon button on the form

    2) In the Solution explorer under the corresponding entity you will be able to find the "Forms" component to edit

    Hello,

Unfortunately you can not  controlled access entity form editor by any settings  , as this can be done by only the user having  System Administrator role only. However you can hide the button using ribbon workbench  entity privilege rule inside display rules or  enable rule with custom java script.

If you will remove, customisation permission user should not see option to open form editor

Users with System Administrator/customizer or with same level of privilege will be able to modify the forms. This is applicable across all entities, can't be configured for a single entity. You can try to hide the Form editor button may be using Ribbon Workbench or remove the customization permission from the security role user have.

    Hi,

As far as I know, Form Editor button is only available for users with System Administrator/System Customizer roles.
