How to check the database to see when web resource was modified over time?

Hello,
with reference to this post: how to check the database to see the last time a web resource was modified? (dynamics.com), Is it possible to know who/when web resource (Power Apps solution) was modified over time (not just the last modification) ?

    Okay, that is not possible with Purview. I'm afraid that the answer is that it's not possible with standard Power Platform.
     
    The way I would solve this going forwards, without resolving to a full ALM setup, is to still use Azure DevOps but only check-in changes - No deployments.
    It's essentially free if you use the included hosted agents in Azure DevOps.
     
    There is a guide here Set up Azure DevOps Pipeline for Power Platform - Continuous Integration (Part 1) - Nanddeep Nachan Blogs, and then stop when he talks about deployments.

    with "Web Resources" I mean those included in Power Apps Solution:
     
     
    It's possible to retrieve the last time/user who updated a web resource:
     
    https://<MyOrg>.crm4.dynamics.com/api/data/v9.2/webresourceset?$select=modifiedon,name,displayname&$expand=modifiedby($select=fullname)&$filter=(name eq '<WebResourceName>')
    Howerver, I'm interested in discover web resource changes over the time. As I understand, there isn't a specific audit for web resources: in the Purview Portal, it seems there are no audit logs specific for web resources.
     
    I agree with you: the only way is to implement an ALM process; right know, I realize is not possible to look at historical web resources changes.

    Nor sure what you mean by web resources, but I assume it's just apps?
    I'm currently looking at implementing Purview to handle auditing changes in my environments. Should also cover your need.
     
    These are the events it tracks for apps: Power Apps activity logging - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn
     
    But the best way is to implement some sort of ALM process using Azure DevOps or GitHub for version control.

    How to check the database to see when web resource was modified over time?
    It seems it's not possible because web resources don't have audit history. However, if your organization uses a version control tool like Git, you would be able to track the history.
