Hi Everyone
I'm trying to understand the usage and pros/cons of using the below tick box when recording capacity (work centre) and item consumption :

it Specifies that the operation represented by the output journal line is finished

Just to add some further clarification. There is a Routing Line Status field. When time, consumption, or output is recorded against an operation it is marked as In Process. When you post an entry with the Finished flag checked it will update the Routing Line Status field to Finished. It is more informational and for reporting/analysis.
Hi,
Select the Finished field of output lines to indicate that the operation is finished. This field is related to the Routing Status field on a production order routing line.
