How do you set up word wrap or text truncation in Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations(Version 10 Update 31)

Hi folks,

We recently updated our Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations from V10 update 28 to V10 update 31 and we've noticed some text truncation issues. 

In our old 28 environment the text never gets truncated:

However in the update 31 environment, all the text elements are truncated if there is any overflow:

I went through the Microsoft update what's new but I couldn't find anything relavent. Since it happens across the product there must be a setting for text overflow somewhere but i couldn't find it.

    Where are these texts and what exactly are they? I don't think there's any setting, it's automatically handled by the platform. If it seems broken, I suggest creating a support request for MS.

    Thanks for the reply.

    The stuff in my screenshot is a RadioButton control that is linked to an enum, and the text is the lable for that enum. The radio button lives on a standard AX form.

    Would you please advise which form has this issue so that we can verify in last platform. In the meantime you can raise a ticket for MS.

    Apologies I should have clarified. So far I haven't found any text truncation problem in any of the Dynamics base modules. However, it appears to exist in all of our cusomized modules. I have attached another screen shot of the issue in update 31 environment.

    I think that field labels have always been truncated. You could use shorter label and put long description in help text. With enum values there's no help text for the enum values but perhaps you could still shorten them. Or report it as a bug to MS, if it worked differently before.

    It definitely worked differently than before so perhaps I'll have to create a ticket for Microsoft. Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately we've been using help text to display more comprehensive tooltip so there won't be any real estate.
