Microsoft Dynamics AX (Archived)

Delete button, new button,save button got disabled.

Hi,

I have two table as datasource of my form.

One datasource is sys table "Usergroupinfo" and other is a normal table.

I set all the  Allow  Properties as yes. Still  new, save and delete button is disabled.

Even i try it to activate by formname_ds.allowedit(true) and for others too in actvate method of datasources.

still same thing prevails.

Is there any way of enabling my save button in my form

please help

    Hi Thaku, can you tell us what form you are using. There is most probably alternative code disabling your datasource's editing properties.

    Hi Jonathan Halland, i created a new form with some replication of usergroup form in Administration module>setup>user group form  with some additonal field from my table.

    my table as a link with usergroupinfo table usergroupinfo .recid==mytable.refrecid.

    Hi Thaku, You mentioned that you have two datasources, are your buttons/button groups linked to the correct data source?

    Hi Jonathan Halland, these buttons are actionpane buttons in form. They are normally enabled or disabled by changing the datasource property of  datasource tables ie,

    Allowedit - yes

    allowcreate-yes

    allowdelete-yes

    my datasource properties are all set to yes.

    May be some permission problem i guess with the Systable which i used in my form

    i checked with some other tables. the form works fine .

    i hope it's the permission problem for that table.

    I am newbie to Ax and X++ so i don't know how to change the permissions for tables and all.  Is there any properties for that??

    Hi Thaku.

    The Button group that these buttons are a part of on the action pane has a "datasource" property. Is this set to the correct datasource?
