Change the Workspace names in Workspace List for all users

Hello Guys,

I am facing a problem in changing the name of the workspace in the list. Kindly, share your advice.

Hi Muhammad,

I don't think so you can change the name from the frontend however you can ask the developer to change the label from the backend for that workspace.

HI Muhammad,

Like Parag mentioned, you can't achieve this with a personalization. You have to change the label. A developer can do this by extending the label file in Visual Studio. Hi Muhammad,

In addition to Andre's blog. I will write the steps related to the Budget planning workspace.

Below are the steps you can follow.

1. Create an extension in a new project

It will ask you select a model where you want to create an extension.

2. Choose a project template and specify the project name

3. Change the caption

Note: I assume you have already a label file and you can create the label. In this case, I just hard-coded labels but It is not best practice. You can make it as per the label standard

4. Build your model and synchronize the database.

5. Test the workspace
