I have a situation where I want to upload large number of Resource Assignment records against multiple Project Tasks. The challenge is, suppose Task-A has 2 Resource assigned, their hours allocated won't be evenly split. Res1 might have 3hrs, Res2 might have 5hrs, a total 8hrs/day. So how do we correctly set the Cost, Sales & Effort Contours on the Resource Assignment records? without getting into too much of complexity off course.

Has anybody come across such a scenario?

I think it is not possible. You would need to have separate tasks for each resource.
