Thanks Cris for your quick response.
actually I was installing on a server which has SQL server, Analysis and reporting components.
then I tried to install reporting in another server, but still same error.
now still I am trying to uninstall analysis and see how?
update you the progress...
if any other though please share... thx
no luck with above, still getting same error. any idea experts...?
Thanks all for your time and response.
I have even tried to install in one VM with all components with new download, by keeping in mind the corrupted download file and any access issue, still same issue.
finally I raised ticket to God (Microsoft), they even able to reproduce (using SQL 206 and AX 2012 R3 CU 12).
team said they have raised to product team, I will update if I get any. seems some dll is still referring to SQL 2014 dll and which is not present.
stay tuned,

MS has mentioned to use SQL Server 2012 SP1 Management Object (SMO) for Reporting Service Extension, so this says that this still refers the OLD dlls. and this also has been mentioned in the installation guide www.microsoft.com/.../confirmation.aspx
Dear Sudhanshu
Did you succeed to resolve the issue? I am facing same issue.
Same issue here, unable to install
Not solved with the suggested SQL Server 2012 SP1 Management Object (SMO)
Has anyone had any luck installing the AX 2012 R3 CU12 Reporting Services extensions with SQL 2016 SSRS in SharePoint (Foundation 2013 with SP1) Integrated mode? Native mode seems to work fine as long as the SQL 2012 SP1 SMO is installed. But in SharePoint integrated mode, the SharePoint report server URL, which was working right before installing the AX extension, begins returning 500 (internal server error) afterwards. There were no apparent issues while running AX setup, but afterwards, reporting services is clearly broken. The event log shows that w3wp.exe gets faulted every time anything tries to do anything related to the SSRS service application. Any thoughts would be most welcome.
