Hi All

I hope someone can help. I have configured a Recurring General Journal, but when trying to post it, I get an error. : There is nothing to post because the journal does not contain a quantity or amount. The amounts are in but I can not seem to locate the error and its odd, as all the other recurring journals I have created work, this one seems to have an issue and I can not figure out what's wrong. can anyone help me here?

Does your work date and posting date match? You can only post recurring general journals when the posting date is the same as your work date. If they don't match, change your work date.

    Hi,

Adding to the replies I'd also say ensure the posting date falls within your posting range. In the past I've found if it doesn't rather than getting "The posting date is not within your allowed range" you get the message "there is nothing to post".

    Hope this helps

    Thanks
    Gavin

Check with the Work Date, Work date should be Equal or greater than the posting date.

I was facing the same issue and found its the work date issue

    Hi,

    This is standard functionality.

In order to post a recurring journal, your work date must be equal to the posting date reflected on the journal line.

    Regards,
    Dhiren.
