Automatically put Sales order line on hold

Is there a way to automatically put a sales order line on hold? We have an item(s) that need to be reviewed for export before it can be shipped. Am aware of the sales order hold functionality in Ax 2012.

Hi JM054,

You can setup quality management to be mandatory prior to be able to ship goods. Have also a look at the next page for some more information.

You also can use batch disposition code (if your items are batch number for tracking dimension group).

By default, items will be setup to one of this status: available or blocked. You can manually update each batch number to one status to the other.
