Hi All,

I am getting below error submitting purchase order invoice workflow. All the financial dimension looks okay.


I've checked all the setups for vendor invoice expenditure reviewers and dimension owners, and everything seems to be in order. However, I'm still encountering an issue

    Hi,
    • Ensure that 'Dept_Manager' is correctly assigned to a user in the system.
    • Make sure that the user tied to 'Dept_Manager' has the necessary workflow approval permissions. Sometimes, inactive accounts or missing security roles cause this issue.

    Hi,
     
    This type of error indicates that the workflow step assigned to the participant token "Dept_Manager" cannot resolve to an actual user. Even if your financial dimensions look correct, maybe one of the following is a reason of it:
     
    1. No user is assigned as the owner of the financial dimension used in the participant token.
    2. The participant provider setup (e.g., Expenditure participant, Ledger dimension owner) is missing or incorrectly mapped for the dimension value used in the PO.
    3. The workflow condition logic or hierarchy assignment (via Position hierarchy or Security role) doesn’t resolve a valid user.
     
    Can you please check O.A. > Workflow > Participant token mappings and financial dimension owner assignments under G.L. > Dimensions. Is the department owner correctly linked to a user with access?
