Is it possible to setup approval workflow for Sales price updates in base AX7?
If it's a customization does it involve a lot of programming?

There's no approval workflow on the sales price trade agreement journal. But do you need a workflow ? How many approvers would there be? Could you just give them access to the Post button and disable it for all other users?
The workflow process is extensible ( or it was in AX 2012) so it's not too difficult for an experienced developer
Hi, for this you have to add customization. This customization did not required a lot of programming, but have to understand different logical steps. You have to add custom enum in required table and enable disable fields in required form based on current value of enum. The workflow can be created with workflow wizard.
