Using a 2nd deployment with Server-side-sync

We have a production environment and a testing environment.  Can we connect both to server-side-sync?

Is it just a matter of adding another serviceprincipalname or is there more to it than that?

    Hello,

Yes, you can do it by running the Power Shell scripts to both servers.

This will add a service principal and service principal credential to the trusted app 00000007-0000-0000-c000-000000000000 (dataverse/crm).

However, I don't recommend to do it, because to my knowledge there is no way to differentiate in Exchange the 2 CRM environments. The emails will be sent from the 2 environments in exactly the same way. The test environment will have access to Exchange data (which may contain sensitive data?).

Maybe someone else can complete my answer and share feedback ?
