I have seen conflicting results, on this point.
When you modify a Word Template based sales invoice in GP, do you have to assign it as the default not just at the company level but at the customer level as well? Or, is assigning the template at the company level good enough?

Assigning the template at the company level good enough, no need to assign to customer level too.
