Missing Product when creating LCS Project

One of our customers is trying to create a project in LCS to manage their own upgrade od AX, however they cannot see the "Dynamics AX" product in the dropdown for 'product type', they can only see "Nav".

What needs to happen to add this in. They have full access to Customer Source. They can also access LCS, navigate around and have created Admin accounts for various users.

RE: Missing Product when creating LCS Project

In order to see AX2012 projects, the user account must be linked to Partner Source / Customer source . This is done by the Partner Source / Customer Source admin (in the partner / customer organization) by adding the user as a "professional" and sending an invite email. Then the user clicks a link in that email and associates their account (O365 or Microsoft account).

Thanks Nikolaos, I have read the blog. I can confirm the user is using an O365 account. When she clicks on her user profile in the top-right she see's 2 references to the same customer organisation (her own). One says Contributor, another says Admin (which is CURRENT).

As it's an O365 account I assume the issue is that her org is not linked to a Partner Org (my company). How do I establish this link, as I would assume it should be setup by default? We have not had to change it for any other customers. When I log into PartnerSource Business Center, the customer appears as a valid customer of my organisation, not due to expire until 2020.

Also, I notice your blog refers to Partnersource, however this action is being performed by a Customer, I assume it is possible for a Customer to create a project of this type.

Hi André, The customer is using organisational accounts linked to their work organisation email. They log in with their work email jon.smith@company.com however this is linked to their customer organisation which is visible on the top right when they click their username.. This is in LCS and as far as I know they are able to log in to CustomerSource too.

    Hi DevOps_123,

Is this customer using organizational accounts instead of private email addresses like Hotmail or live? This both on Customersource and LCS?
