Hi expert, is there any way to import the serial number before create the purchase order and then assign the serial number to the items? I check only 337 Reservation Entry stores the serial number before post. Can I import the data to this table? Thank you!

You can create temp table to upload your stuff, directly to these tables not suggested. Do small customization where you want to select and apply, then using Navision default program get it created as happens in std.
Also maintaining all details directly in this table will be tricky job and prone to errors which may lead to new issues.
Still if you can eleborate your requirement in detail , it will be easy to suggest best answer for your requirement.
Functionality that you are looking for is not available in the default version of Dynamics NAV. Plus I really do not see a solid logic of your requirement as anyhow you need to enter the serial numbers to the system.
If you can provide more details on the process you are following may be we can give you a better answer.
As amol mentioned, if you are planing to do any modifications related to item tracking please be very careful as it is a very complex area in the Dynamics NAV.

It is not possible in standard Navision as whenever the serial no is assigned system looks for Itemno and during the purchase order you have to generate the serial no.
You might need to customize it but be careful as Item tracking in Navision is very complex

I'm not sure about your requirement, can you elaborate your process more exactly, why do you need such import? Perhaps, Item Tracking Code (T6502) and Serial No. Information (T6504) are interesting for you?
