Update Bulk Item Tracing Data

Hello,

I have been looking for information on how to import/update bulk item tracing data (Expiry/Lot) from excel on Retail Item Card. I have found lot of information on editing or adding attributes to existing items, but have been unable to find anything on updating items in bulk.

My situation: I have an excel file with item code, item tracking code, Serial Number series code, and expiration calculation formula. Adding them manually would take days.

Please let me know if you need more information to be able to assist.

Thank you!

If you are in Nav 2016 you either have to use configuration packages for this or have it customized.

If you are unfamiliar with the configuration packages I will recommend you seek assistance from your partner.

It is easy to mess up the item table if you are not confident in the procedures.

    Hi,

If the configuration package is working to achieve your requirement, then you have to go with the customization to pull the excel or CSV data .

    Hi All,

Thanks for the support!. My system has configuration packages enabled and seeing some entries. Attaching the screenshot. If anyone could give me idea on  configuring packages or any links, I would be grateful.  I also do have a test environment for test scenarios.
