Hi all ,

I'm trying to create a customer with AX 2012.

I'm partially successful so far using the article found here:

https://community.dynamics.com/ax/b/daxbeginners/archive/2013/11/11/how-to-create-customer-through-x

the issue i am facing is that

custTable.AccountNum is showing blank in the table , i have checked with debugger , actualy number sequence is not generating .
other than this field , every thing is inserting into the table

please suggest , any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

have you tried to create a in your AX, manually, without code?

if yes, how was it? was it returning an Auto Number?

There is possibility that your CustAccountNumber Sequence is set to manual

    so matter is clear.

if number is set to manual, how you can expect the x++ code to get it for you, while "creating customer by x++"

probably you can use CustCustomerService (existing service)

or if that is not fluffing your needs, you can create your own service, document type or custom service, up to you choice and skills

I would be thankful if you may create a new thread for you any of your new question
