Disposing of a Fixed asset

Hi All

I get a strange error when I try to dispose of an asset. I created the Fixed asset GL journal, but when I try to post it, it fails with the following error :

I have checked everything but can not locate the source of the error. has anyone had this issue before and if so, what did you do to fix it? I have checked the locations the error refers to but see nothing wrong with the setup. what am I missing here?

Hello Ramon,

delete the value from the Gen. Prod. Posting Group (FIXED ASSETS) and try Preview Posting first, if it is ok, then you can Post journal. It should work.

it seems you fill in a field that needs not to be filled in to post. I guess the previous response may fix the issue.
