Fiscal printer requirement - Poland wholesale

Hello Team,

We have customer in Poland using AX 2012 R3 (CU13)...we do have requirement on Fiscal printers for wholesale process which mandatory if sale exceeds 20 000 PLN per tax year according to our local client.

A fiscal printer is a specific printer that must be certified for retail sales by the local tax authorities. All items that are sold must be registered through the printer. The fiscal printer is connected to the computer through a serial port

Unfortunately , we don't have much document or guideline on this ...

If anybody has done it earlier, please share some documents or guidelines...

Hi Arunkumar,

here is some description, but for D365, maybe it could help you:

For AX2012 there is not a lot:

I will check if we have more information and let you know.

Hi Ramune,

Thank you for your feedback...indeed, we have already gone through these documents which isn't much helpful.

There isn't any document about printer (if on-line printers are supported ), installation process, is it possible to see the output in screen like standard SSRS report etc..

It would be helpful if you are able to find and let us know...

Thank you for your detailed document...

We have configured the same setup as suggested in the document and getting below error...

1. We have done only setup for POSnet but not installed any printer

2. Is there any way related to see the print layout as we normally see in SSRS report

3. We are using citrix to connect the client, should it have different setup?

Hi All,

Please find the feedback from Microsoft,

"There is no way to print the document without fiscal printer. You need to have it to be able to finish the process and print the fiscal document. There is no possibility to see it as SSRS Report / on screen

You may try to find some free fiscal printer emulator, but it might not work correctly. That is why, the only way to test/check it, is to have a physical fiscal printer

Probably You are using POSNET printers, so please find below a short description what You need to do:

1. Download and install latest hotfix  fix.lcs.dynamics.com/.../Details

2. Run full compilation of application and do the required checklist steps

3. Copy the ThermalServiceLibrary.dll to the folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics AX\6.3\Client\Bin (it might require to copy it to ‘Bin’ folder on AOS as well)

4. Set all the requirement setup in Dynamics – port, cashier, etc. (short description in attached document)

5. Optional: Set the Tax exempt number for Customer: docs.microsoft.com/.../assign-a-tax-exempt-number-to-a-customer

6. Create and post the invoice with document type set to: fiscal document

7. Print document on the fiscal printer"

So we are in the process of acquiring printer to test the same...we will update you the results
