Dear Mates,

First of all wishing you all a happy, healthy and safe new year 2016.

I have created a new fiscal year for 2016 under the same Fiscal calendar which we are using on the ledger form. Have checked that all the period and users are open in Ledger Calendar and have also run the 'recalculate ledger period'. However am still getting the below error:

Please advise if I am still missing out something to be updated for the new fiscal year to take effect.

Hi Hitesh,

Are you aware of possible customizations or add-ons in your environment? If you can find someone with development skills it is possible to debug this issue. As system administrator it is possible to select one of the lines in the infolog and click on Edit to open the method where the error is raised. The code can be analyzed or a breakpoint for the debugger can be set. If you have vanilla AX, you can also create a support ticket at Microsoft support.

Hello Andre,

We are getting the following error while trying to post and GL, AP or AR entries. We are able to prepare the entries and put them on hold. The error is while validating or posting the entry.

These settings looks OK. Can you indicate when and where you get this error? Which form/which process and at what step?

Hi Hitesh,

You may create a document or screenshot on e.g. OneDrive and share the link in the forum. Usually I don't have issues uploading pictures.

Yes, its within the same fiscal year. Please find below the snap shot of Fiscal Calendar setup and also the snap shot of Ledger setup including the 'Ledger Calendar'

If you are not able to see the screen shots, can you give me your alternate email where I can attach the screenshots separately?

If it is really within the same fiscal calendar, you should not have this error message. Can you share a screenshot of rhe Fiscal calendar setup?
