Sales Budget (Import/Export from/to Excel)

Hello supporters,

I'm trying to export or import to/from excel for sales budget. My questions are,

1. Sales Budget can be mapping with G/L?

2. How can I import from Excel to NAV 2013 R2 based on Line of Business? Any template can be found from somewhere in here? For now, I exported excel from NAV and used that form when importing but don't know how can I upload at once for all line of businesses.

Thanks in advance.

RR

Yes, You can do it in once.

Choose Show as Lines  > Item

Choose Show as Columns > Line of Business Dimension

Choose Show Value As > Sales Amount or Quantity (As needed)

    Choose View By: Month

Choose Filters > Date Filter: 01-04-18..30-04-18 (Required Month)

Export the data to Excel, Fill the data (Line of Business would be in Excel Columns) and further Import in NAV.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone, I'll try what you guys suggested. Sorry one more thing, can I upload all at once? Or I need to upload one by one? I need to upload by product by month for 5 different dimensions.

You need to select Line of Business in "Show as Columns" field and then export the budget, so that you can fill the data and import it again in the system.

    Hope this helps.

Yes you can upload dimension wise budget in Dynamics NAV. To get the example, create a sample budged in the Dynamics NAV and export it to excel. Then do the necessary changes and upload it back.

Thanks for your reply. I meant "Dimension". Is it possible to upload budget by "Dimension"? in NAV 2013 R2 version?

When you say line of business you mean different companies in the Navision ?
