Hi All,

We are getting the below error while generating the payment advice report. Tried searching on internet , it is suggesting to re-compile and all....our issue is in D365FO SAT environment , we cannot perform any such actions.

/Parameter _reportName cannot be null or empty./

Please advice how we can resolve this issue.

When did this error start throwing?

Do you have any updates recently on the environment?

What version are you using?

Is it happening in dev server?

Hi Girish,

We have 10.0.35 version for all environments, the report is working in DEV for one legal entity but not working for remaining legal entities.

In SAT it is not working for any legal entity. We are not sure from when it started.

We saw this issue when there is customization involved, kindly check if there is any or try to debug.

Hi Ramit/Bharani,

we do not have any customization on the Payment advice report, and it is not working in SAT in any legal entity, but it is working in one of the legal entities in DEV.

If you are getting error in one environment and not in another like dev means, in that case I would suggest you to get the database of related sandbox or connect with that sandbox from dev and do the debug. Because it won't be like it is working at one place and not in another. Either some version or some gap is there. Please debug so that you can get root cause.

Hi Akbar Pasha, Please check if PrintMgmtReportFormat table has a record for that report. If record is missing then try inserting a record for the required legal entity and test.

We are able to resolve the issue by deleting the records related to payment advice in PrintMgmtReportFormat table
