Company with Two Ledgers with Different Fiscal Periods

Greetings,

I have a client with a very interesting need.  He needs to generate financial statements for the same company but under different Fiscal Period rules.  The company has the fiscal year periods going from January to December and he wants to keep the company this way.  However, he also needs to report the same company as if it were under a July to June fiscal year.

Is it possible to have the same company with two ledgers, each with a different set of fiscal years?  If not, any recommendations?

This company is G/L only, no transactions of any sort other than Journal Entries.

Thanks.

    Hi Rob,

Thank you very much for your response.  Not sure if by just making changes to the columns in MR they will get the financial results they expect but, I'll give it a try.

    Kind regards.

    Hi Ricardo,

You cannot do it in GL trial balance but you can try it in Management Reporter with 12 months in the columns labeled with July to June plus the column of Beginning balance & total those 13 columns, you don't have to print individual column but just total column. be careful with the base year in the column layout.

    Hope it helps,

    Rob
