Benefit Accrual Plan Figures Suddenly showing in hours

In the Employees -> Benefit Accrual Plans the figures of carry forward and available are shown as hours suddenly. Previously they were being shown as no. days. Also if i try to adjust the days the adjustment hours field is not getting popluated and giving error the adjustment hours needs to be filled in.

Can anyone help in this?
