Using Budget Register Entries for Budget and Reforecasts, with difference Exchange Rate Types

Hi All,

I am trying to upload a budget into D365 F&O, through Budget Register Entries, and as expected the Budget Exchange Rate Type table is being used. For our budget purposes, we held the GBP:USD FX rate at 1.3000

However, we now wish to upload our Q1 Reforecast (Q1RF) into Budget Register Entries under a different Budget Model, and utilise a different Exchange Rate Type, with a GBP:USD FX of 1.2000 for Months 4-12, and actual FX rates for 1-3.

My question is, how do I get Budget Register Entries to select the appropriate exchange rate table based on the Budget Model. Is this possible?
How can I compare a full year budget with an FX rate of 1.3000 to my Q1RF which has P1-3 as actuals, and P4-12 at 1.2000.

Any help is massively appreciated, as our current consultancy group are unable to help us!

Thanks,

Lee

To the best of my knowledge, in standard functionality, you cannot direct your budget register entries to select an exchange rate type based on the budget model.

I believe you would need a customization to achieve this in an automated fashion.
