The link in the question header is part of my marketing email, but when I open the link I get the following message: We're unable to verify your contact information. Make sure cookies are not blocked or use the unsubscribe link in your email. Please help what am I doing wrong
Hi! I am having the same issue. Have you resolved this? Could you help share the workarounds?
Thank you!
Hi Akash,
I've been having the same issue, even when opening the link through the Marketing email. I can confirm the link does have the additional data embedded in the URL, but still, some contacts are getting the error message ("We're unable to verify your contact information. Make sure..."), while other users can see the form with the pre-populated data.
Hi Partner
As far as I know, With the latest change this behavior is expected for Marketing pages of type “Subscription center”, this was something that was changed with the wave 1 update.
Prior to the wave 1 update you could see the subscription center form when going directly to the marketing page but if you submitted it you would get an error.
With the new change the Subscription form doesn’t appear unless you open it from an email.
This happens because, if you notice on the url in the email, there is additional contact data in the URL.
When opening the url form the email the marketing page reads the additional data embedded in the URL and automatically knows who is the contact that is opening the page and it then associates any performed actions to that contact in Dynamics 365. If you open the url directly from Dynamics 365 no contact data is passed and the subscription form is not able to associate the actions to a contact.
Stay up to date on forum activity by subscribing. You can also customize your in-app and email Notification settings across all subscriptions.
