    Hello Samuel,

Dynamics 365 will allow us to import data using different file types. We will import data to Dynamics 365. We have five supported file types for importing data.

    Excel Spreadsheet 2003 (.xml)
    Comma-separated values(.csv)
    Text(.txt)
    Excel Workbook(.xlsx)
    Compressed(.zip)

Also, you can refer this link for import and/or update data in dynamics 365

    Hi Samuel.

Great post. I'm searching for a solution to a slightly different problem. maybe you have it. :-)

I have an existing contact database in CRM. I would like to add several contacts to a specific marketing list in CRM. But the information to which list a contact needs to be added is in XLS file. And this XLS file was not exported from CRM. Unique identifier fields in XLS file could be First name, Last name and e-mail. Is there a way that I could tell CRM to search for Contacts that include these three fields (eg. Jon, Doe, jon.doe@email.com) and add them to a contact marketing list eg. TEST_LIST.

I have searched for different solutions to this problem but can't find a solution.

    Thanks for helping.

    Gregor
