Hi All,

I need to encrypt data in the database for dynamics 365, and these things should work for specific or overall data (fields) including standard/custom fields such as bank account, phone no, etc.

because as far as I know the OOB feature like "data encryption" is only for default fields such as username & password and it's more likely for email purpose. (CMIIW)

please, you guys if you have any idea about this please let me know :) thank you cheers...

    Hi..

    you need to writing plugin on record create, update and retrieval.

    When record is created or updated, then encrypt data using any encryption and save encrypted data into database.

    when record is retrieved, then decrypt data.

    here some good information

    yep. actually I have a thinking a method similar like the link you have shared.

    but unfortunately the development has almost done :(  need many refactoring in code and in reports definitely.
