Hi @tin007 Yes — what you want is possible, but Dynamics 365 doesn’t do it out-of-the-box for Work Order Products. You’ll need to add a small customization to make the Product lookup filter dynamically based on the selected Price List on the Work Order.
Here’s how you can implement it:
You’ll use the addCustomFilter method in your JavaScript to filter by the selected Price List.
addCustomFilter
If you don’t want JS, you could: a. Create a custom view of Products filtered by the Price List. b. Use code or a plugin to set that view as default when a Price List is chosen.
a. You must make sure the Work Order form and Work Order Product form both have the Price List accessible so the filter works.
b. This filter only affects the lookup search — users could still technically bypass it by creating products without a matching price list unless you enforce it with a plugin or business rule.
