Sales Accelerator Sales Rep Calendars

Hi all,

We are using the Sales Accelerator feature to automatically assign leads to our sales reps.  It works great, however we are running into an issue in regard to the individual sales rep's calendars and access to them.

The feature has two options, use Outlook Calendars or use the integrated calendars in the Sales Accelerator settings.  We have opted to use the integrated calendars.  Both options require the sales reps to enter their work schedule, days off, etc. and then they will only be assigned leads based on their schedule.

The problem comes in when they call off sick.   Most reps do not bring their laptops home so that they can update their schedule to mark themselves unavailable for that day.   The sales manager then has to go into the Sales Insights settings, assignment rules and disable them for assignment.  This works but then the manager must remember to re-enable them at the end of the day.

The Sales manager is asking for the ability to access the sales rep's individual availability calendars, so she can simply edit them if necessary.   This functionality does not seem to exist unless I am missing it.  I really cannot figure out where the calendar data is stored (which table?).   If anyone has some insight on this, I would sincerely appreciate it!

    Hi MattD_JMX,

The data is saved in the Calendar entity. However, the entity is invisible by design. So there is no OOB way to let your Sales manager to modify reps' calendars.
