Hi guys,
I just want to know if you have experienced or have any idea to why this Account Field (Key Account) becomes null when a user views the record. Please see the setup of the field below.
- Custom Field
- Two Option Field (Yes or No)
- Default value is set to No
- Field is Required
- Field Security Enabled
The the user viewing the record owns the record but does not have read, update and create access to the field.
I tried to add the business unit of the user to the Field Security Profile that gives Read access to the field. The Key Account field has value set to No.
But when the user is removed from the Field Security Profile, the Key Account field becomes null which I expect to have a default value but not visible to the user.
No javascripts, nor workflows, nor business rules that are triggered On Load of the form. But the field value becomes null.
Did you guys experience the same issue or have any idea of the issue?
