NAV License key for a single system

Dear All,

I have already downloaded the trial version of NAV but wanted to get one full license in order setup and test fully on a test environment.   Can any of you guide me how to get one single stand alone license to install on a test server.

    Babu,

    NAV license key is for single server, and it comprise of all the users you ordered for, it is not single license for each user.

    To load the license Open Development Environment -> Tools ->License Information and from that window you can change or upload the license.

    If you need full permissions for a single user then you need setup your user as SUPER in the permissions

    Thanks Suresh, thanks for your reply but how do I can get a full version of NAV and activate it my test environment.  Do I have to buy this only through partner or any other option are there.

    Babu,

    What do you mean by full version of NAV, when you install demo NAV it is fully installed and the demo license you should include all application functionality.  There are some restrictions of demo license but should have access to all the functionality of NAV.

    Thanks for your reply and sorry for not giving full details.  Please note the following.

    1) I have downloaded the NAV trial version and able to login and work on the test company.

    2) I wanted to create a new company on my own machine with SQL server local, for testing purpose and do all setup myself.  How to achieve this please confirm.

    to create a new company:

    CRONUS International Ltd./Departments/Administration/IT Administration/General/Companies

    > Home\New  > to create a new company

    You can also COPY an existing company to another (for exaple to mantain standard demo setup in this case)

    > Home\Copy >insert new company name

    Hi Sandeep & Roberto,

    I have installed NAV 2015 and everything look fine and installed sucessfully.  However when go to the SQL server Management studio i cant see the database.  however i am able to login to test company.  SQL server 2012 and Windows server 2012 R2 and both SQL is on the same machine where I installed the NAV.
