Sales order pick list print: bar code issues

i am testing printing a sales order pick note, but i keep getting the same warning and error, which is referring to the Pick number "WESH-00303" not a product bar code!?

Warning

"Bar code type EAN13Bar code string WESH-00303 Bar code contains more than numbers"

"The bar code must contain 13 characters, but WESH-00303 contains 10 characters"

Error
"The barcode value is not compatible with its type. Type = EAN13. Value = WESH-00303."

any ideas what is happening?

i missed the stock management parameter for the pick number!!
