Hi, I am trying to modify some of the forms/reports done in GP v10 using Report writer. I want use some of he user defined functions to fetch some information. Where can I get some documentation on the user defined functions. I already tried the GP SDK. I could find only some documentation on the Report writer functions and not the user defined ones.

Please Help.

Mahesh

    If you go to the GP installation folder (default is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2010\...), there is a folder called documentation.  In that folder is a PDF calld ReportWriter.  This document should outline and define the user defined functions for you.

    Regards,

    Aaron

    Mahesh,

    What were you trying to do? I have many of them (other than the ones in the SDK) documented. I've been collecting definitions for the udf's almost as fervently as the dex.ini switches.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

    Maredy,

    I believe these are the parameters you are looking for:

    SALES GLOBAL FUNCTION:  RW_SOPGetCustID

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    function returns         'Customer Number'        RW_SOPGetCustID;

    in                       'SOP Number'             sSOPNum;

    in                       'SOP Type'               nSOPType;

    Regards,

    Aaron
