Assigning Customers to Customer Team

I've setup a Customer Team in Organization Admin.  I have 7,000+ customers in the Company, but only one of those customers will assign to the Team.  Is there a specific parameter or setting in the Customer record that controls whether a customer account can be assigned to a customer team?
This is AX 2012 R3.

    I just figured it out - the Customer has to be setup as a Person, not an Organization.
