Not able to build Models in D365FO

Hi Folks,

I am doing customizations in my model using extensions ,when i build my model it gives sync error saying "Synchromnization failed please do the full build of your model and its reference"..

When i do that   "Application Suite" is taking more time to build (more than 7 hrs) after that i get an error saying " "No assembly matching referenced module 'ApplicationSuite' is found" plaese let me know why i get this?? and what is the resolution for such.

I am using PU31 vhd mounted in hyper-v locally.

    Hi Disha,

    Have you checked event logs?

    I think the fast way is to create a new machine.

    I get error saying

    The description for Event ID 110 from source Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

    If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

    The following information was included with the event:

    AX is shutting down due to an error.

    Error initializing X++ event handlers. Please verify that application is deployed and compiled correctly. Error messages follow:

    An exception was encountered while initializing event handler initializer 'InitMethod' on type 'Dynamics.AX.Application.EventHandler.EventHandlersInitializeClass, Dynamics.AX.EnterpriseAssetManagementAppSuite, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

    Could not load file or assembly 'Dynamics.AX.ApplicationSuite, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified

    i created a new VM again but the issue exists again,is it the issue with vhd i downloaded from shared asset library..

    Could not make out where the issue is.

    Hi Disha,

    I took a closer look at the pictures in the shared thread, which is consistent with your error description.

    Did you mention that the new machine issue still exists?

    Is your problem reproduced after full build?

    Hi Disha,

    Export your changes, delete you extension model and then perform the full rebuild. If the build succeeded, import your changes in the new model and then try to do the build again. Start from a smaller change and then do a build to do find out what is causing issues.

    I do n’t know how your VHD is, but you can try to build it without any customization after creating a new machine to see if there is anything wrong. I guess it should be fine

    Hi Baber i have done that,and more over there is no much customiztaion just added a filed to CustTable and tried building ...agian i get same issue

    Hello Disha,

    Have you added a custom model and added your extension to the custom model and referenced the ApplicationSuite model in there?
